Was just wondering if you've seen the interest in this thread for another group buy at some point this year:

having read through that thread it seems unlikely that deal will be given again but I am one thats keeping an eye out for the (hopefully) next one whatever it may be.

I cant remap until my insurance is renewed in June so I am hoping something will come up by then but it looks like the STS offer was a whole heap of work and had a much greater uptake than expected. speaks volumes for the business that they got through that with only minor grumblings - and ended up with many very happy customers

I am certainly one of the ones that would bite his arm off if the offer was repeated and looks like there would be about 10 others.

haha love a good guilt trip its very rare to do a group buy of that size for any company considering he was giving away £150 STS handsets with 45 group buy takers thats £6.5k of free handsets he gave out so i wouldnt imagine a group buy of that magnitude anytime soon lol

If you join freedom your entitled to a 10% discount iirc thats a good saving in the first place. i think he does business it pretty much all the VAG shows etc. you could always try them

erm make it over 70 takers - other forum's too! (by own admition) but the 12 days of xmass had 30% discounts so we can all hope

its unlikely, but there are those of us that can wait, and to be honest if time does not give another offer will probably buy anyway

lets face it, we all know this is the map of choice for a VAG engine

I am happy to contact Shark but I think it would be wise to see what interest there would be first

if there are only a couple of us then theres not much point

so could any one who is interested add themselves to this list with a few details such as would you want an STS unit? I think for a group buy this would make sense but others may not agree

Looking at the end of the original group buy thread there's a good 6/7 that registered interest so hopefully they'll see it and sign up.

anything you can do to get interest would be great, I am thinking that its not going to get started without at least 5 to 10 people and the more the better.

at the end of the day we have to drum up enough business to make a deal beneficial to Shark as well as us so the more people hopefully the better the deal we can negotiate.

I will also keep an eye out for any posts for remaps and try to point them here as well. if you could do the same that would be great

as i said earlier this is just to get an idea of numbers to see if its worth going forward - if there were only the 2 of us that had posted to the thread prior to Shark's post then there would be no point in taking it further.

however with 8 potential takers coming forward in less than 24 hrs it looks like it will be well worth doing
