Quick price evaluation?

Featured Replies

Hi all. I'm thinking about coming back to the fold after a 2 years break.

Superb 2.0 TDI CR 170 Elegance DSG.

Sept 09/59

Mileage 24k

Park assist

Burgundy/cream

£19,900 main dealer

I've looked at the usual places but there's quite a variation in value.

What do you reckon?

Thats more than I thought it would be going for with that kind of mileage.

Possibly the residual value is better than we all hoped for due to the long waiting list for new cars.

Carefull, that shoulds a bit high, I paid £19,500 for a Superb 2.0 TDI CR 170 Elegance 09 plate Manual with only 300 miles on the clock, thats was back on September 09, the car was only 3 months old, so the are better deals out there. You should look at the used car section of the skoda website. I used that to my advantage in getting a better deal.

I ve just checked and at time of typing the are simplar cars under £17k, so look about

There was one on A/T last week for £16k iirc, might only be an SE though, think it was blue.

Superb's are being inflated by Skoda, they simply aren't worth the money right now, an 18 mth old car in that spec and miles should be about 15k now, do a test, ring in and ask for a rough px figure, I bet you they wanna give you £14k or less for their 19k car.

Only £23k brand new off DrivetheDeal. Think they are inflating the prices due to the shortages of Diesel engines on new orders.

Thanks for that. I'll look some more. Btw, the Legend went a year ago, currently on a 55 plate Bora 1.9tdi.

Thanks to everyone else.

Coming back to the Superb, I still have your old wheels at my parents home in Hertfordshire.

I paid just under 19K 12 months ago for a just under over 1 year old 2.0PD140 DSG Elegance with a couple of extras and only 12K on the clock.

Lol @ wheels. I may buy them back for my Bora yet it I don't get a Superb :)

Anyway, the one I was looking at is 18 months old, has park assist, upgraded stereo, heated washers (is that an option?) and I'm really tempted. There's another one, same age, 20k miles but without the extras for £18. 5k. I may try and get the one I was looking at down to near that price. My feet are really starting to itch again :p

What does the upgraded stereo comprise?

Edit: found the stereo info now. Glad I don't have to decide, sounds a bit hit and miss.

Upgraded stereo is better speakers (3 in each door instead of 2) and I believe an external more powerfull amp under the seat.

Mine has Park Assist and its a novelty and only used once in the 12 months I have owned the Superb, and that was to demo it to a couple of mates.

Heated washer jets are an extra, as is park assist and the upgraded stereo.
