Custom Code remaps

Featured Replies

Is anyone using one of these remaps? What's it like nice and smooth?

My mates MD376 vRS was mapped by them and he had no complaints. :)

Forget CC, go to shark performance. Ben knows his stuff, and the maps are a lot better value for money as well.

Do a search on here for Custom Code / JBS to read all the horror stories.

Over on the TT Forums JBS is a swear-word. AMD, Jabba Sport, P-torque and Shark Performance seem to be the ones most folks are happy with. AMD and P-torque always do before and after rolling-road runs but Shark Performance get rave reviews from their customers.

I couldn't agree more B)

As above

only one for me imo. RS Tuning based in leeds!

jbs/custom code is in my town and alot of people dont like them.they only think they are good because they get in the mags every other month

Shark Performance get rave reviews from their customers.

And quite rightly so !

Was a pleasure dealing with Ben for my custom map. :)

++1 for Shark

For what a remap costs now a days, id go with SharkPerformance or other type companies

I had Custom Revo Code, no complaints, my clutch held nice, and got very fast times down the 1/4 from it.

and can someone tell me how a remapped car drives on half throttle say around town? much more lively than before or pretty much the same till you boot it?

The car is no different to drive when you're just pottering about town, that is until you remember your right foot is made of lead, and whoosh, off you go :giggle:

Edit: That is unless you have a really **** poor map on the car.

Might be worth looking at the STS unit?

Allows you to map your car at your leisure, so you can leave it standard for your students, then something for a bit of fun for the weekend B)

In that case, I'd suspect they wouldn't really notice a difference. I learnt to drive in a 1.9 non-turbo diesel with something like 58hp, so I expect your pupils to feel priviledged!

Best advice is to speak to Ben (shark_90)
