VRS gear knob replacement part

Featured Replies

It should fit fine, regarding the company there are a lot of mixed opinions regarding there service, you may be shocked at the shipping costs, although this item is 100grams so it shouldn't be more than a fiver.

They do have some good stuff though!

Cheers for your input.

I might just price a new one up from skoda. Or search the bay of much 'E' ness

Any other ideas people.

The ebay one is £32 with postage, think I might get that one from superskoda as well, they are sometimes speedy sometimes slow I have ordered plenty from there

Edit it is a shame it is not Matt aluminium though

The Matt aluminium ones are better IMHO for some reason mine came with one from new. I have been to many skoda meetings and havent see another car fitted with the same one yet....wierd

Thats not a bad price for the complete gearstick and gaitor!

Lets us know how you get on with it (fitting etc) if you get the SS one as mine is looking a bit tired now, I actually prefer the matt silver.

I got one from Superskoda to replace the worn one on my car. I had no problems at all - delivery was quite quick but don't expect anything too fast as it's coming snail-mail from abroad.

How easy was it to fit mate?

I just got one from Superskoda, arrived in 3 working days and fitted perfectly and easily

How easy was it to fit mate?

Absolute doddle - small screwdriver at the base of the old one and lever it (without gouging the leather), off it pops and the new one clips firmly in its place

ps... Superskoda have them with Vrs logo on too.... well it pleased me rather than just having plain one :)

MMMMM I like the VRS badged one on SuperSkoda. That is rather smart. :)

Will this fit my 2007 vrs diesel estate

Was this just a replacement to metallic insert? Or the complete assembly?

I've just ordered one of these as mine is starting to look a little tatty. Should brighten up the interior a bit and will match the dial surrounds I've already fitted.
