The biggest, baddest vRS

Indeed

Still reckon mine is the quickest SDI :D

I think your Scooby mates would concur.

Would have paid good money to have seen their faces.

tis all subjective... down a wintry back road i suspect stuartJ's would be fastest (purely cos tight **** tavia4x4 would be running canvas spec slicks.....)

Would agree with that.

The RS is a right hand full on a tight slippery bend.

hp

hopefully fitting the kw's this weekend now that i have all new rubbers and bearings and jabba are sorting me with an intercooler/map/boostcontroller package and i will also hopefully have a new TIP by then. thing is my exhaust is standard, will make much difference to the map and/or response of the car. wouldn't mind a blueflame system but finances are holding that back a little while

I think that unless you change the full system the exhaust doesn't affect the map, there was a guy there having his golf mapped and an exhaust rear section fitted. He had the exhaust fitted after the map as Mike said it wouldn't matter. Now i guess a full system would be differant.

Blooming Mods there're all the same. :finger:

Seeing as you have a 4x4 which are notorious for having freer flow cats and dp..it might not make much of a difference.

Best ask Stuart J though...dp/cat won't give much bhp best chods of torque.

hmmm, torque is king in my world, lots of nice low to mid range torque for easy acceleration

Back on topic, James has the NO 1 on here? what power is it pushing. I'm generally looking at BHP/Torque as all I care about is straight line speed :)

We talking with or without NoS?

and are we talking still working or not?

I might humbly suggest that me olde motor was once up there with the best of them (a certain Mr D-C-ac may know what I am talking about) :)

These days motorway grandad here is less fast with occassional glimpses of brilliance (when it is working that is  )

Ah the joys of modifications....... :(
