When I can find one I will own an Octavia diesel estate. It will replace the Mondeo that broke - engine failure. So I'm pondering mileage and colours and 4x4 and traction control and warranty options and not enjoying it very much - the www is awash with stories both good and bad. I just want a good car that I can trust. Serendipity says it will work out - I needed a taxi last night and an Octavia TDi with 190k on it turned up, very comfortable ride, smooth and seemed powerful enough.
