Is it that big a deal to ask for a picture ? And I don't think that a uk spec car would have the sensor fitted in a different place as opposed to an Indian spec car..... If you havent realised they sell the same cars here !And by the way it's just a discussion... 90% of the problems and solutions discussed here can be sorted by goin to the dealer .... And I don't think everything posted here need not be compulsorily true !Anyways thanks for your input !

No, it isn't a big deal. Just don't complain when a picture isn't posted within 7 hours of you asking for it, for the second time....

But the best of luck with it. I won't comment further.

Not been funny but that attitude isn't going to get you anywhere. Get off your high horse. You are asking someone to take off either their wheel arch liner or remove fog lights and grills to take a photo for you so i think the least you can do is show a little courtesy.

As I and others have said you probably haven't got a sensor. You will have a pump at the bottom and if you have a sensor you will have another plug going into the bottle much like your coolant sensor.

Hey pz1, so did you figure out what the problem was? Is it a case of a missing sensor or something else? Incidentally, I've also got a 2011 ambiente and facing the same issue as you post vcds activation.

Thx,

Sanju

The problem was his low spec Ambiente doesn't have the sensor!

There is no point activating it using VCDS if the sensor isn't fitted.

His friends higher spec Elegance obviously had the sensor fitted.

wow, thread resurrection

he has retrofitted it now
