Thought I was going to be a +1 on that comment and that you'd helped me decide but comparing the two white cars on this pic I think the white roof actually looks lower. Perhaps black isn't so slimming on the vRS.

I went on a road trip to check out a Candy White without the black roof to help me make up my mind about which roof to spec. I've opted for without, as others have said can always get it vinyl wrapped later at much less cost.

One thing I noticed having a good look at the Candy White WITH black roof at my dealers is that it's a metallic black but the A pillar is just gloss black. Might not concern most people but to me, it didn't match.

Only problem with taking a trip down to Cantebury to see the white/white was they had a green with black wheels which I really liked. Oddly I also liked that without the black roof in the flesh. Until then, based on photos I've seen online, I would have said the green looked best with the black roof.

Roof rails make up for it though, they look great in the gloss black.
