White or black roof?

Featured Replies

Hello people

Basically we have 99% decided we are going to order a vrs in candy White with black wheels. We are now having heated discussions on what colour roof to pick. Does the black roof give the car a more streamlined look??

I ordered one without the black roof, because i hadn't seen a picture with it. Having seen a picture i subsequently changed my order.

Someone on here has wrapped his chrome grill surround in black as well and it looks really good

That's what you will get when summer arrives, unless you manage to park under a tree during the day :giggle:

No1 reason why I went all white (then ditched the chrome)

 black roof

Would make sense to choose white for this reason if you lived in the middle of a desert or something but can't see it making any difference over here given the usual cr@ppy UK summer weather! :giggle:

Black roof all the way for me!!! :D

Definitely black roof....white roof only highlights how tall the Fabia is.

+1

Plus i think black looks better because the pillars between the windows are black too

Try option 3

No cost option of a white roof on a white car.

Save money from not painting the roof black.

Order the sunroof option instead.

If you really must have a black roof, go get it wrapped in any shade you fancy.

getting it wrapped would be half the price, but would be classed as a modification with the insurance

I seem to change my mind on colour daily. One day it's White with black roof and the next day I see race blue with black roof and think it looks awesome! Dam you skoda!!

there are a lot of guys going for white. blue isnt that common on here

From my point of view, blue is definately the best, but at the end of the day it really is personal choice. Enjoy

Definitely black roof.

Hi, one "problem" with a white roof is people think you are driving a Mini. I explained once that it was a Skoda and the person then referred to the car as a Skoda Mini. Both colours look good so just go with what you like.

were they about 7 years old??? :dull:

Good point, hadn't really given that any thought. Race blue was always my choice and i thought the white roof would just be a little different to the black, white alloys were a throw back to the #peugeot Rallye's of the past. The next bit is the fact that my locl dealer has the car sat in his show room, and whilst there are no extras fitted i have managed to secure it at well below the 20% off price plus i get to have it at the beginning of March making a total wait time of just 24 days, and then only because i want an 11 plate (thinking here of future resale value if i choose to sell in the future). Roll on March :D

Sounds like a good deal to me, My HTP is blue and white and I like it, Its easy to find in a car park and bird poo doesn't show up on it. Good luck with it.

John

To the OP - I think black roof definately. Makes it look a bit different and pulls the focus off the much talked about, tall look of the Fabia!

I think when i eventually get the funds to order, i'm going to go for Rallye Green with black roof and alloys. I thought about Black with white roof and alloys, looks nice and haven't yet seen that combination, but I know if i don't get the green, i'll regret it later on as i like being the center of attention, and with a green car, your gonna' stand out

Well we finally decided on racing blue with black roof and black wheels. No idea on delivery date as yet, just waiting to hear from the stealer tomorrow. Can't wait!

Thought I was going to be a +1 on that comment and that you'd helped me decide but comparing the two white cars on this pic I think the white roof actually looks lower. Perhaps black isn't so slimming on the vRS.
