Fabia interior options

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im getting sick of cleaning my vrs interior all the time and ive been looking at diffrent options for a new interior.

What other vag cars seats directly fit in front and back? Are their any?

I love the leather that seat surgoens do b ut cant afford the £800 and on a car worth under 4k not really worth it.

I also really like the sports seats (vrs shape but black cloth)

So does anybody who has a sport want to swap their interior for vrs ones?

Ive heard seat covers from skoda cost around £750? I will be ringing on monday to confirm it.

I dont mind fitting my own covers if sombody has just the covers lying aroud.

Thanks Pete.

Not sure Sport covers would fit a vRS as the seats are bigger...

Audi TT seats and apparently new MK5 Golf GTI seats fit...

I'm pretty sure the sports seats are identical. Basicly anything from mk4 Ibiza/polo will go in without issues. Everythings will need varying degrees of work to get in, I'm sure Jason had to re-drill the floor to fit his golf seats in, so not a easy swap tbh

Matt

The sport seats are identical in shape as the vRS items.

Now they look MUCH better than the white/black originals.

All they need is the vRS logo stitching into the backrest.

Still need to get some vRS logo's made up actually, had too many other things to do since getting the seats!

Those are the pictures i saw that made me want those seats!!

Im looking on ebay at the moment at some rear seats.

I figure if i could have those it might be easier to pick up a set of covers or front seats.

The question is the ones im looking at, are they the same as the sports ones? are all the rear seats the same?

The bohemia seats, do they come in only that colour.. so if i did get the rears id then have to look for the fronts in the same colour.

How often do they come up for sale?

Thanks in advance!

IMO people selling the sport seats aint stupid at all and know there interior will be in demand from vrs owners like ourselves. they tend to stick to selling in full sets and know they can put a premium on them ive seen them sell for 250+ on here. id hold out for a swap with ur interior but you would probably still be looking at cash there way tho

hope you find some

The seats you have posted a link to don't look like the seats I have, although the picture is not very clear. All the rear seats are the same shape, it's the front's that differ.

Pretty sure the last time I saw a whole sport interior was a few months ago on ebay. Other option is stop any Bohemia you see and demand a swap

Yes, i wasnt sure about those ive asked him for some more pictures my thoughts were i could buy just the covers for the fronts new (if skoda dont want my pants down) if they do turn out to be the right seats.

The second option has crossed my mind, as has buying a sport then swapping, then relising i have no money and would be a rediculous idea anyway!

Third option... you sell me yours!! :p HAHA

Haha, I was really lucky getting a straight swap for mine so they will be staying thanks :)

all the mk5 platform are a pitta to fit the runners are wider then the fabia fitment, tt seats fit as they are narrower just need to make up brackets on the door side runners, i also believe a2 front seats fit, ibiza mk4 etc

Out of the 4 platforms, the Fabia's are the best imo - the A2 aren't sporty enough, the Ibiza aren't buckety enough, the Polo aren't good until the GTI and they are very rare.

Best bet is leather or TT seats, or as you have shown the sport seats! If you can find them!

good thing about the a2 seats are most have electric lumber support good if you have back probs, and i was offered a set for 100quid, they were grey though

Thats true about fabia seats..

The ones in my dads fabia are alot better than the ones in my ibiza!

Would have some in mine if they were a different colour..

That's quite a good alternative to the pricey leather option...
