Went out to buy a C-Max but bought a Roomster

Featured Replies

I was convinced I wanted a C-Max as the new ones do look good but in the end thought it was too big for me and as I also tried a Roomster, which I liked far more than I expected to, I ended up buying one. Have to wait until June for delivery unfortunately.

It's a 1.2 TSI 105 SE in steel grey and I added roof bars, 16" alloys, small leather pack and spare wheel.

This is thread is music to my ears,

Skoda are by far the best affordable car manurfacturer and it frustrates me that Ford maintain almost 20% market share in the uk, so well done for evening the odds a little!

Welcome to the Club, and thank you for bringing a tear to my eyes!

Skoda 1 Ford 0

Leather pack is a well priced option, and the 1.2tsi though not as economical as the figures suggest is a great choice as the 1.4tdi 70bhp diesels(which are the highest selling engine in the range) are a bit sluggish out of town.

I should also add that I tried a Citroen C3 Picasso that was not much fun to drive and looks even uglier than a Roomster IMO ;)

Good choice

Welcome to the fold :hi:

Ahh! Hello!

Welcome, Mudshark.

Roomster is something of a Marmite car. It is not mainstream and you either love it or you hate it.

I love mine and consider it the best car I have ever owned.

Current info on 1.2 TSI DSG seems to be around 3 months from order to production. (order W2, preliminary production w13). I have not yet received the car though, so this is just preliminary info.
