Hello i have a 2005 fabia vrs, i have fitted a pd160 intake to it and i am looking for a remap asap!! does anybody know the best companies for them to give the best performance? help pleaseee

There's a few sponsors on here that offer excellent remaps, either Shark Performance, Awesome GTI, P-Torque or Unit 18 would be my choice

I've been looking at getting my car remapped for a while now and have looked at all my options for a stage 1. All I would say is do your research before you leap into it and don't get too caught up on horse power and torque figures. At the end of the day you want a car that is going to be smooth to drive and a map that isn't going to kill your clutch.

At the moment I'm looking at a stage 1 map from Shark and there's currently a group buy open for a Shark Performance remap in another thread. The link is in my signature if you're interested.

i went to more bhp in crewe charged £195 and gave a noticeable increase in performance all round. might be worth a shout see what deal jason can do you?

It will reset your clock, and current mileage trip etc, but WONT reset your remap. The only way this would happen is if the dealer were to apply a software update to the ECU.

When I had my car mapped, Ben applied the latest update anyway, so there should be very little chance of a dealer over-write nowadays on the Fabia 1.

I think you can do it mail order, although if you're in Manc it's not amazingly far down to Mansfield if needs be.

Oh and I've never heard of a map being reset by unplugging the battery.
