Bye Bye VRS

Featured Replies

After much deliberating I have taken the decision to opt into the company car scheme (regretting it already) and have ordered a new car which will hopefully arrive on Tuesday. I have to say it has been a great car just wish I could keep it as well!

Don't keep us all in suspense, what are you getting to replace your VRS?

Got a Merc C180 on the way but will hopefully be looking for a car for the weekend to compliment it as I am going to miss the VRS.

That doesn't sound like too bad a swap, it's not like you're going to 1.2 Astra (or equivalent)!

I take it you could pick what car you could go for? If so why did you not go for a Skoda as a company car?

It is not bad, I would still prfer the VRS the car is a dream.

The VRS is actually more costly to lease than the C Class believe it or not so was out of bounds(unless I covered the difference) and once I'd had the VRS I didn't want to downtrade. Personal circumstances have recently changed so I put my boring accountant head on and choose the C Class plus it was the best of what was on offer.

I get a few goodies that I don't have at the mo though!
