Another good point, I can forgive them a little delay, but according to the note on the site the move started on the Wednesday, that still gave them nearly two days to get it out. And a clear warning on the confirmation email etc would have been nice.

As I say, think it'll be the first and last time they get my business, shame really because I think they're on here.

Octy tdi 2001 ambient

I had the same fault code for the cts intermittent fault short to + the fuel consumption is as good as its ever been and the temp gauge reads bang on 90.

Vag reads true temp of 84

During winter I did notice that the glow plug light would often stay on for ages and occasionally It would struggle to start even with good battery.

I replaced cts with new Skoda green cts and the vag com still reports the same fault.

Any ideas where else I might try?

I assume you cleared the fault and it came back? A quick look at the loom might be in order...

Yes, I cleared the fault, re-ran the scan and there it was again.

Any tips on how to check the loom?
