When did you take the rub strips off? Or did the body shop do it. Looks bang on how I want it.

I did it a while ago mate, it's a bit of a chew on to do but you get good results! If you look really closely on mine in person there's slight laquer peel as well but you wouldn't see it unless you knew about it. If your going to do it get a proper heat gun and take your time to heat up the adhesive thoroughly or it's a pain to get off...

It was £300 but that was for door handles, mirror bases and a few scratches and other small repairs. So I'd say about £200 for the bumper!

ive been thinking about getting my bumper done, after looking at the pics of yours im gona get it done, looks mint.

cheers mate

Looks spot on mate

Loving the smoothed bumper B)

Apart from in the window, is there any where else you could put the number plate?

Perhaps you could have a small square (jap style) to put some where.

Was thinking that but im not sure. Revieved some smaller ones in the post today so it's not as bold!

Pig to figure out ain't it as on the dash isn't legal.

Certainely is. Was thinking of attaching it to the sunvisor but the top of the VRS screen is tinted!

Not a square one Skoda is not jap!...............

what about one of those really short plates, still illegal but I think you'll be less likely to be pulled over

Cheers mate, appreciate that comment!

What headlight tinting you use?

Fly eyes. Not to everyones taste due to it been perforated but I personally think it looks great. Gives the headlights a real crystally affect as well!

Few updated pics, got her back from the bodyshop today. Tried the GTI affect on the grille and had the rear smoothed.

Opinions? :)

Looks really good mate but I wouldn't tint the rear lights, mainly to break up the black if nothing else, that and a stubby ariel or shark fin

Cheers mate, i do believe im the first one on here with the GTI style pin stripe as well. Just thought id tell the bodyshop to give it a go, to be honest i wasnt expecting it to come out as well. Told them to match the green on the VRS badge and its perfect. Also took the VRS badge of the rear and put that on the front grille when it was colour coded, looks so much better.

You off to inters on sunday? Mine will be there on the stand

Few more pics with the rear light tints off, wasnt keen.
