The Anthracite Assassin

Featured Replies

Just put an order in for the Anthracite Assassin Should be here around mid June.

Spec is

Anthracite 2.0TFSi DSG Estate with the Following options:

F&R Sensors

Sunset Glass

Variable Boot Floor

MDI

Bluetooth & Maxidot

MFSW with Paddles

Auto Dimming Mirror, Auto Lights & Rain Sensor

Curtain Airbags

Xenons with AFS

Heated Seats

Leather vRS seats

Will look like the pics below but with black roof bars, not the Silver bars and will have silver wheels (to start with ). It is also a TSi but for some reason Skoda still call them a TFSi . I was going to go Diseasel but with the VAT off i worked out the extra cost of the Diseasel engine and VAT i could do over 22k miles in the petrol so it's a no brainer.

Roll on June and let the Modding commence all over again :giggle: :giggle:

Lovely colour.... :giggle:

Should be awesome in fairness. Still might have gone for silver roof rails though. They're matt silver, not chrome.

Having said that maybe you'll be painting them to match the wheels? :p

So which one is this replacing..........the Bullet or the Slingshot, or both?

That top shot looks awesome

I have exact same spec minus bluetooth but I chose silver rails which I think look a tad classier on the colour (great choice by the way!).

The anthracite looks incredible when clean (very rewarding to wash!) and the paintwork is very good quality but it does show the dirt quick.

Both as we will only be needing the one car from summer so made sense to get rid of one. From that we just decided to trade both in and get the one.

I saw the roof rails on an Anthracite estate today (it wasn't a vRS though) at the dealers and i just didn't like it. No offence to anyone that has them as it's each to their own but i just don't like them.

But i like the colour a lot. It was quite funny actually as SWMBO, when i showed her a pic, said "urgh no i don't like that" we then saw an Un-Marked Fuhrer car and she went ooh that's a nice colour :wonder: Women :giggle:

We test drove a 1.8TSi Estate today (as was torn between the vRS and the L&K) and that was Anthracite and she liked it. However we both said it felt a bit gutless compared to the vRS so that made our minds up.

Its a great colour Anthracite

Good luck with it

Unless they are free forget it :p

The first amount of Moolah is going on an MFD3 (cue the birching to within an inch of my life for funding international crime :dull::rofl: ) as i aint paying £1300 from Skoda when i can get one for £5-600 on eGay. So i specced Leather Seats instead

VAG (or anyone else for that matter) charging £1300 for a head unit is international crime . . .

I will get a photo tomorrow for you so you can see the tint level on the rear glass.

I like that car - the wheel colour really suits. Needs more "low" however..

I sold the Stream MP3 ages ago mate. I did intend to get one Factory fit but not at that price.

There is no issues now as the Bolero has a diversity antenna so it is a case of plug in, code and away you go

I see , good 1 , getting itchy about doing something to mine , need a downpipe i reckon , have the bsh

Lovely car. Next time I'm going for an estate. Didn't realise curtain airbag is not standard. Cheeky question - who's the supplying dealer.
