Vrs drive shafts

hi guys and gals,

any ideas if the Golf gti / leon cupra run the same drive shafts?

i've got a rhythmic vibration from what i belive to be the offside inner cv joint, want to bang a set of shafts in it to eliminate both shaft / all joints.

cars on 154k so prob on there last legs anyway lol

done the usual ebay searches etc and people are either not replying to questions or say they have and then stop replying!! :S
