It started happening on slow manouvers but I now hear it at speed too especially if the windows are down. When I turn the wheel it's makes a clunking noise. It happens whichever way I turn it but yet it doesn't happen all the time. Seems random but it is happening more often. Any ideas what it could be?

Check console bushes, TRE's, CV joints for play, Balljoints.

Console bushes were replaced about a year ago and I've recently had the droplinks changed. What's a TRE?

as said there check the top shock mounts - found out today one of mines has gone

sometimes the spring itself will move from going full lock to full lock, mine does this too, only notice it sometimes tho when not at speed parking etc
