BT issues with HTC Desire(bravo)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have Bolero on my Superb Elegance 140CR TDI 2010(2011). I'm able to pair my HTC Desire with Bolero , but after 20-30 min connection is lost and restore after HTC reboot but for next 20-30 min only :-( .

By searching web I found some updates about issues with BT on HTC Desire(bravo)only (probably HW failure, i sow some bugs on HTC forums).

I'm on the way to get 2nd SIM and let my old N96 in the car for all the time, as last option.

The best part of BT pair was that I was able to listen to music and books via my mobile device and not only SDHC card.

Any advise or suggestion on that ?

Thanks

It could help if you know what BT module you have attached to the Bolero ??

In my Superb (also 2011) I have the 7P6 Premium kit. My phone is a HTC Desire HD and it works perfectly. I made a charger connector in the armrest for the phone and installed "Locale" on it. The phone then enables the BT function automatic and connects to the Bolero, when I turn the key in the ignition.

I have no issues with my setup. I have even tried internet radio on the phone and then streamed the sound through BT to the Bolero. And the same for music I have on my NAS at home. Works very fine.

You could try a BT headset. If you don't have any issue there I guess it must be the BT setup in your car.
