1.9tdi (PD100) photo request

Featured Replies

As the title says, i'm after seeing what sort of difference Eibach springs will make to my PD100. Its currently on 16" vRS standard alloys, i'm not really after dropping it hugely at any point (mainly as the roads are horrendous where i live). It looks quite monster truck like at the moment, the alloys filled the arches on the horizontal axis nicely, just have made the gap above even more pronounced!

Anyone got a photo of a PD100 with standard vRS alloys lowered on Eibachs pretty please

I think Leodasasch was on springs and standards wheels, might be worth looking in alloys archive up top of the page.

Not on Fabia vRS alloys but still 16'' and lowered on Eibachs

I was, I'll see if I can dig up some photos :)

Started running through the Alloys thread but no luck just yet.. I really can't decide whether i like the Eibach drop, just doesn't quite look low enough - looks very much how the OEM should have been :p

I'm in a similar situation as you - I have a standard 1.9 TDi estate. It's on standard wheels at the mo, but I intend to get some 16" ones some time.

Will eibach's fit on the standard TDi shocks? I was wondering what the difference in ride would be if I put eibachs on my standard TDi shocks or if I put them on some vRS shocks perhaps.

I'm thinking that I might keep the standard shocks and fit eibacks and perhaps a whiteline rear anti roll bar. I don't want to spend too much cash!

Perfect, thank you! Yeh, i think i'll be going down the coilover route - I think the fact my current dampers have seen almost 130k is probably a good enough reason to replace the lot :)

My dampers have seen over 138k miles and I had Eibachs (bought from Leodhasach) put on back in January

No bother fella :) It doesn't look like that anymore though :giggle: This is on AP coilovers and 17'' Evolos:

I'm sure there's a brake disk in there somewhere! :p Needs those 312s for the looks if nothing else. :)

How did the Eibachs compare to the standard? Were they a lot firmer?

Slightly firmer but they still give a very comfortable ride.

The car sit's a bit lower than what the picture shows

I ran them with Koni FSD's. A pricey enough combination, but I couldn't fault the ride.
