Hey all,

Just thought I'd say that I just ordered my first upgrade for my furby, a green panel filter for the princely sum of

It's a good deal alright!

Cheers Jon, and cheers Neo for pointing me in the right direction :thumbup:

Fitting is dead simple.

Undo the 2 screws on the right hand side of the airbox. Un-hinge the lid of airbox & lift up (if you wish, you may unclip the intake pipe from the lid). Pull out the original filter & drop in the green filter. Drop the lid back down into the hinges & replace the screws.

Simple as that!

That's what I like to hear.

Cheers

Just to point out that the green filter may not sit as snuggly as the original.

If so, then it may need to be moved around for a better fit.

What does that green filter do for a standard car? I read somewhere there was no need to replace the air filters on diesels as it has virtually no advantage... and can even be worse in some cases.

:rofl::rofl:

your wrong!

TDi engines use higher boost than a petrol... so sucks more air. you may not notice any power increases.. but i can tell mine is dirty as my car smokes alot more now :cool:

But if theres no power increase, then to me that means it doesnt really do much...

Hmmm, same here :confused:

I would have thought the Cupra ducting on a standard airfilter would be sufficient...

When I fitted mine, it made the engine sound a bit more purposeful up front - deeper note and with windows down, you can hear it drawing air through it, and it helps take away a little more diesel clatter. My Milltek is running in well too, and the whole package sounds really quite sporty! Seriously! :eek:
