it looks ok but then you have to put a silly wee small number plate on or in the window and it looks gash! lol

The money could be so well spent else where.

looks mint in real life! i saw that car at ed38 last year! so much better than hacking a huge hole in ur bumper!

That car + speed humps = new bumper every time they meet, A little chavy IMO, but like the wheels.

Never been a fan of smoothed bumpers.

I'd rather keep a car looking standard, and spend all the monies making it go, stop and steer.

All go with no show B)

Nay, say I! :D

I'd say leave the bumper as it is

If its a toss up between this and the mesh grille crap people seem to be loving lately, this hands down every day of the week. I love the pic of the fabia with the white wheels, the other looks poo IMO but each to their own :)

Give it a go mate, may as well if you like it, its your car

Go for it!!!

Be different. Not to everyone's taste, but that's the point of modding.

I thought the whole point of the 'big mouth' front bumper was to allow more air into the FMIC? A smooth bumper wouldn't change the air flow as the number plate mount is there as standard anyway. I thought the mesh idea was a performance gain rather than for looks whereas the smooth bumper is purely for looks.

I'm not a fan tbh, but as said each to their own. I'm very much all go no show as softie said

Matt

I think the trouble is that the standard bumper actually looks pretty good, I think the only reason people change (bar the big mouth mod) is to be different which I'm all for, just not loving this idea that's all.

As said before, totaly depends what you want from the car. Or like my plans you could smooth a bumper and have a second one with the wide mouth for my ss fmic.

1 question:

Where are you going to put your number plate?

I quite like it smoothed tbh but i dont think i would get it done tho.

That's madness Elliott! :p

I usually find myself agreeing with the majority of your posts, but have to disagree here dude

Going on the rough basis that the two cars shown are identical except for the wheel choices (I am aware that one is on coillies, one is on air, one has lamin-x etc etc), then basically you are saying that the difference between 'love' and 'poo' status are the Gotti split rims?!?! :o

Just to clarify: Gotti splits = poo??? :o:o:o

Madness..... :p

Just to clarify: Gotti splits = poo??? :o:o:o

Have to agree ! Dont suit the car at all :(

This is getting upsetting

Surely I can't be alone in thinking that these wheels look the nuts???

there is too much going on in them

Perhaps I need to stick to E38...

....or invest in some 17 inch Spiders to be different :p

Back on topic though

I think the smooth bumper looks great, but agree with Phil's point about the number plate. Ross, you seem to get pulled by the police quite a lot as it is - a smoothed bumper and a plate on the dash would defo increase your meetings with Kents finest....

ha ha ha thats why i steered clear of spiders i didnt want to stand out in the crowd!

that light blue one you put up had that smooth bumper and he also made a little bracket for his plate then when he went to shows it was motorised to fold under the car! was fantastic!

Awesome i love this look 1 B)
