i wouldnt do it to my own car but i guess it looks better than the wide mouth mod you see everywhere

my question is...... how is this done? as that is not the shape behind the number plate.....

I would expect the plate holder is removed then a bodyshop fills and smooths the front end off then a respray!

i really like it smoothed

The number plate would be stick on to one side jobby :/ thats the ONLY downside I guess...

That's enough reason on it's own not do it! I think stuck on plates look absolutely gash. If you're gunna do it you definitely need to run the plate in your window IMO.

I've been tempted to do this. But again not feeling any other locations for a nunberPlate

I know not technically legal but i think those motorbike sized plates (not the square ones) would look ok on the front if it was at the bottom of the bumper...

Lees car with the white wheels also has the go, hybrid etc. Cracking MJ interior, it's an awesome complete car.

I saw Catman's vRS today and it has got me mighty tempted to smooth my front bumper... It looks a lot better in person!

Also now really tempted to do this. It looks great B)

that black fabia with the smooth bumper is so nice! nice new interior for this season aswell :) anyone know if the lad has a build thread anywhere? noticed he was on the uk stance stand at UD.

He's not on here, but there is a build thread over on E38.

I think the trouble is that the standard bumper actually looks pretty good, I think the only reason people change (bar the big mouth mod) is to be different which I'm all for, just not loving this idea that's all.

^^ My thoughts exactly, I really like the way the front number plate housing extends out from the car, it improves the side profile.

Think it would look nicer if they smooth the line on the front and rear bumper. Other than that, then no.

Euro look?

Euro look?

I suppose you could call it that, but its not really extreme smoothness because you'll still have the fog surrounds and grills.

Edit: i.e.

Paint skillz

Now even though it is only suttel that looks nice! but cost over look... i dont think i would pay the cash to get that done for such a small look difference!
