An email will go out to accompany this, but as you seem to be active here I thought I would give you some warning.

We are moving soon. It's a move to another shared space, but there are only a few folk on there.

It might turn out to be worse, but I have a backup plan. The move will be soon, before month end and the site will be off line for as little as 2 hours to 48hours as the DNS servers around the world refresh.

cool im honoured !

will we get big enhancements when the move is done?

dancing girls?

As soon as you change the DNS, please post us the IP address, cos I honestly can't be without the forums for longer than a couple of hours :D

Ahem - You got me worried now. Will I need to make any changes to the way I log on to this site?

Sounds good Colin.

Colin,

If you're about tonight fill us in on the details via MSM :-)

Good luck with the move....

No, you might need to update cookies by logging in and out again, but apart from that, nothing.

Oh, and I think Colin used the old 'lets personalise the thread by using some server variable' trick (hence the april 1st comment), but I think the server move is genuine...

Nope no changes should be needed your end. Then again!

Ip will do but it's name based, doing my bit to save the Ip address pool, but will supply the appropriate redirects.

Ignore the

My o2 email address was a nightmare to get on when I was at home ..Very slow

So Iam just using my work email address

Sounds kind of scary, Colin. I think I will take a day off work that day and stay in bed (and get to grips with the latest Harry Potter). eek.gif

Yeah, sure! Been passed by Change Control has it? ;)

Seriously, though - can't see it being a problem.
