I generally have no problem surfing around the web or the site on my Ipad but when in the forum and drafting a reply I have often had the Ipad jump back to the main screen and I lose all that I have typed :swear:

Not sure what is going on but has happened quite a bit now!

sounds like a similar problem to mine.

Colin (or IT boffins) is apparently working on it

Why not use Tapatalk, its free and Brisky supports it.

IMO its great for the forum, well, all except the chat function.

don't know if it's just me but I have terrible issues using tapa with brisky only. Pics don't display and posts containing pictures don't show half the text just the smiley faces :(

Works fine for me, and no issues

You're doing it wrong

For the record, I don't think I have any problems but I'm still iOS 4.x and always use the mobile skin as a default. dunno if that helps.

Briskoda used to be very unstable and virtually unusable after I had installed iOS 5 on my iPad2 but I have to say that since the site upgrade I have not had any problems with crashing and the site is now working fine.

My only grumble is that the text formatting and emoticons are missing from the reply window.

If Colin could fix that I would be completely happy :)

Ipad2 now excellent

Since the update I have not had any of the random crashes on my Ipad. Only issue is that the pages when loaded are too big for the screen so need to manually shrink down. However I porefer doing that than losing my posts just before I manage to hit the post button.

Also the back button now takes you back to the previous page even after a post.

I'm using an iPad 2 and so far have managed to upload images in my posts, but very recently I have not been able to. I haven't changed any of my settings and I'm getting the following message in the reply window: You can upload up to 'Uploading is not allowed' of files (Max. single file size: 2MB)

My images are always less than 2MB so I can't understand where the problem is. Any suggestions please?

Ah, just checked my settings/attachments and I've got 7 images stored and that's at 100% capacity. If I delete these will they disappear from my previous posts?

Why not replace them with links instead?

Also, FYI you do get more storage space if you're a Freedom member.

I take it you mean linking to Photobucket or some other storage medium? Also, how much more storage space does becoming a Freedom member give?

No probs on my iPad OR iPhone :)

I always upload photos to photo bucket and copy/paste the **** link into posts on here.

I guess they will be deleted as they'll not be in the location that's linked to in your posts.
