Sorry if this has already been mentioned but there's a switch behind a panel low down to the right of the steering wheel (RHD) that allows you to turn the DRLs off.

Ultimately the DRL's on the vRS are legal, I'm sure Skoda would have checked this out before making them a standard offering for the UK market.

I've never much cared for people who use their front fogs in good conditions; I confess when I was a bit younger and first got a car with front fogs I did do it from time to time but needless to say I grew up and dont bother any more. I now tend to see people doing it and think they are a bit sad; particularly when said car is a sack of **** :-)

I think it will just take time for people to get used to seeing Fabia vRS's on the road, after all it is still quite a new model and there arent that many out there. It's no different to cornering foglights really; my car has these and for a while I used to get the "one of your foglights is broken" and you've got your fogs on" comments but this technology has been around a few years now and no one on the roads (old bill included) seems bothered about it anymore even though they are effectively using your foglights for this purpose and I guess can cause dazzle. Give it time and the stupidity will stop.

they have got sidelight bulbs... but they don't operate ... bizzar I know....

these are mine, headlights (projector) to the left, full beam to the center, side lightts (never used) above...
