Impressive sky this evening

I completely discombobulated this Chaffinch when I played the video back to it!

I was overtaken by this stunner earlier - sounded like thunder!!

Came across a grim sight at Rufford this evening.

 

We noticed the Swan on the nest appeared to be in distress and when we got there it seems a weasel / stoat had got into the nest and was in the process of devouring her eggs

In true 'Circle of Life' fashion we came across these just around the corner from the poor Swan
