Bluebells in the local woods (taken on a phone so not the best quality) 

 

Dragonfly on my fence just now.  I didn't bother getting my phone out as I knew I wouldn't be quick enough.  After three or four minutes I thought well, in for a penny.  Dragonfly stayed around for a couple of mins after too.  Lovely to see:

Taken at the 2022 Plains Rally in Clocaenog Forest. I

 

Tried to go for something a bit more "atmospheric" when taking photos. I also took a brave pill and shot in full manual mode, so I think it paid off quite well! I'm chuffed with how it's turned out.

 

It may be a bit dark at the bottom right and the car is a bit more blurred than i'd have liked, but it's a start!

No prizes for quality, but I was quite pleased to have snapped this brown trout as it made its way past a heron at Bourton-on-the-Water:

 

St Mary's Church, Fairford.  Interesting because it's the only medieval Parish Church in the Country with a full set of 28 stained glass windows, one of which is the origin (allegedly) of the phrase 'Going to hell in a hand cart':

 

 

Fairford's a smashing little village to visit and while away a day.

Good effort Westy. Exposure looks good. White cars are tricky to shoot, I find that you loose some detail if on auto as the car tends to be over exposed. Underexposed for black cars. It can be adjusted after in lightroom or similar if it’s not quite right. I also like like that there’s space around the car, which can work well, you don’t need to fill the frame with the car. If you pan the camera with the car it may have been a little sharper with a feeling of movement. I like the idea and the setting though. Nice one.
