Confirm Xenons

Featured Replies

When I turn my sidelights on, my Xenons turn on. Turning on my main lights uses the small bulbs next to them. Full beam I haven't checked yet (just realised). Is this correct?

I wouldn't have thought so.....

With the lighting switch in the straight up position it should just have the sidelights lit.... Moving it over again would then turn your dipbeam (i.e. xenons) on then mainbeam via the stalk.

That sounds wrong - from your description

Switch in Sidelight position - Dipped Beam and Sidelights on

Switch in Dipped Beam Position - Full Beam, Dipped Beam and Sidelights on

In which switch position does the green headlight symbol come on on the dash? Are you getting a Blue headlight symbol when you switch to Dipped Beam position?

Do you have tunnel (or auto) lights?

Definately not right. Get it into a dealers sharpish.

If you have auto-lights and its relatively dark then the dipped beam will come on when you switch the knob to the sidelight position (vertical)- that would be correct.

No thats not right. If it is on AUTO the lights will come on if it is dull enough outside, otherwise one more click to sidelights will then turn the headlights off and just leave the sidelights on. AUTO is in the vertical postion if you have auto lights and the sidelight is one click to the right and then another click to the right for dipped.

edit, answer above
