thanks jase!! great help! was going to go with pagids from euro car parts should do the job! come in about 40 quid less than the gen ones, unless anyone thinks gen ones are a must! bare in mind im a driving instructor! dont want them squealing all day long!

Afraid your eyes are the only pad wear indicators on a fabia. :) Oh, and your ears for the squeal they make when down to the metal. ;)

Nope all the same, C54 front calipers. SE has them painted red the rest are green.

I replaced with mintex, and one pad had the wear indicators built in, with a plug attached on a lead.

Ripped the plug off before fitting - job done

Yeap, mine is the 07 plate, seen you a few times on Malvern or Marlborough Way. Always wondered what it would have been like to learn in a vRS :)

same as any other car mate! to be honest with you, im just worried for when the DMF gives up! however my mate works at TL darby vw in burton and does my servicing using gen parts as a foreigner (inc book stamp and ecu scan) for a really good price! so let me know if you want yours done!

I think cars which were on variable servicing had wear indicators. If your car is on normal (fixed) servicing (most vRS's are), then cut the wire off at the pad if the new ones have them.
