Well I saw the photos on eBay of each wheel and they seemed ok. Two had curbing around part of the lip. The other two looked decent. I doubt they would be impresed if i turned up and then said there kak and walked lol?

vas_Pagey the seller hasn't got back to me yet with regards to using parcel2go. i don't know weight and sizes of boxes though for wheels so how will i be able to do quote? also at a hotel in essex at the mo with no printer so not sure how i could get it to work. he quoted 40quid using parcelforce48 service on ebay auction.

Dimensions of boxes for 17" wheels will be roughly 45cm W x 20cm H x 20cm L, weight no more than 13kg each. :yes:

Download the labels, save, and email to the seller-he can print them and attach them. Or just email the links to him.

cheers guys! just paid'd via paypal and arranged my own collection it would of cost £26 each way in may car lol! It was infact £28.56 for HDNL. I never paid the extra £5 for the insurance to cover the alloy wheel to its value lol as i thought whats the point. Do you know if when you put in the collection email it send them an email with the labels for the boxes or whether i need to email them across to the seller? Cheers Ryan. The seller must attach the labels to the items for collection, yes.

just incase it didnt email the seller from the contact details provided i emailed photos and links in case the URL to each parcel failed. As parcel2go dont say if it does or not. Ryan

Vancouvers are 18 as well. They came along with the Mk6 'facelift'. Charlstons were 18s on the Mk5, and an option on the GT IIRC.

If they are from a MkV Golf, they will fit straight on, no probs. No need for different bolts/spigot rings and they'll clear the calipers fine. :yes:

the wheels arrived on monday after collection on friday so was impressed with that for 28quid. the wheels themselves look awesome. 3 look fine. one needs refurbing badly. i think the others will be fine once ive cleaned them and polished with my da polisher. here are some pics of the wheels.

one wheel has kerbing the others have some minor scratches. so im hoping once vie cleaned them and polished them i wont need to bother with them. but it depends if the one that is badly kerbed would be matched with the other 3 wheels. im planning to use prestige wheels in birmingham on the tyburn road as my mate had his split rims for his jap mr2 done there and they were mint. i just need to get a price. ive noticed the spokes are different colour which is sutle which is nice. the wheels are replica made by OZ racing MSW so not a bad wheel. If i weren't that fussed they could get tyres fitted for winter and they will do for winter tyres but i think ill make them look mint as there a really nice wheel. I brought some wheel inserts for the middle as the ones in there were VW and these are proper inserts and not stickers they look good i think? £11 (£8.99+£1.99) off ebay delivered for 4. obviously not genuine but a good copy and fit.
