Hi Skoda fans,

what a pleasant suprise to find this site.

I have a 1.6 octavia estate and a 1.3 felicia classic which my wife drives.

I took the Octavia for its M.O.T. test yesterday. Everything was fine apart from they were unable to check the co2 emissions because it is not possible to hold the revs at the required level, 2500 to 3000. If i gently increase the revs to 2500 and try to hold them there they just keep increasing, back of slightly and they drop right back to tickover. The car drives fine and tickover is fine. does anybody know of anything obvious this could be , or had a similar experience ?

Best regards, Mick.
