Aux in socket

Featured Replies

When was the aux in socket introduced on Elegance Estate models? Looking to buy a used one but need a jack for my iPod for those long journeys! Anyone help?

Think the Stream mp3 hu was introduced around 56/07, which has aux-in capability, though even if you find an earlier model with the standard Stream it's a doddle to retro-fit an aux-in, at the expense of the cd-changer.

Have a Google for "Connects2 adapter", or better still search here on the forum.

think it was for 58 model. they have it on vrs anyway

It was for the MY07. I had a late MY06 that didn't have it.

At the same time they started to fit the MP3 Stream.

So 56 reg - may have it, 07 reg - most will have it.

I have a 07 Octy estate with MP3 Stream CD/radio - am I being thick here as I can't see an Aux In socket anywhere, although according to the manual there are three different Aux In settings on the radio menu.

MY07 estate has a stream mp3 and aux in the arm rest

My 56 plate vRS has stream mp3 and aux in. Registered dec 06.

Dont mean to sound stupid but how do you select aux in, my dad has picked up his oc vrs yesturday which has the stream mp3 hu with the aux in but i can for the life of me work out how to select the aux??

I would look in the manual but the dealer seems to have replaced the stero manual with an incorrect book :dull:

Just press cd a few times and aux will pop up

Just press cd a few times and aux will pop up

cheers pall i will give that a go

i have just tried this and it did not work it just said "no cd"

Press it again, it goes CD, changer, aux

I tried that and as well and agian it would flash no cd and then return to the cd changer displayer where you are able to select the cd number you want. I have a feeling the HU maybe faulty

Think there's an option in the settings to turn the aux on too. Press the musical note btn to access.

sorted now thanks folks
