Bluetooth car kit - Where is yours mounted

Featured Replies

I'm curious where on the dash people have mounted their Bluetooth car kit? I have just ordered a Nokia CK15W (quite an old model), but can't decide the best place to mount the screen and the function buttons. And good advice out there? I thought the screen could sit on the dash in the corner next to the pillar.

Ive got a parret car kit and its mounted under my hazard switch where it says Octavia,

I dont know if its just the kit or my phone but its absolutly crap, i wired it to os door speaker from back of radio and it not got enough power to power speaker so you can hardly hear person on other end and person on other end says they can hear an echo

Head unit has built in bluetooth and the mic's wired up the drivers A pillar to the top. Works a treat.

I've got a parrot mounted on middle heater vent, good piece of kit aswell. Mic's mounted on the speedo surround

must be something wrong, as i've never had an issue with Parrot's.

had a nokia kit in the old vrs and it was spot on. when i bought my mk 11 i had a parrot kit fitted and i don't find it

anywhere as clear, also turned the voice command off as it kept connecting randomly.

have positioned the windscreen mount to thebottom right of window.

I've got a parrot, it's mounted on the blank button between petrol cap button and ASR button. The mic's mounted on the steering column just in front of the clocks. Can't see it when sitting in the normal driving position. No volume or clarity issues/complaints. If you're interested I can post a pic or two tomorrow.

Parrot will require a SOT lead or similair to run it through a cars speakers. Gave you simply wired the kit to the speaker wires?? :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

My Nokia kit is fitted with the microphone up by the sunroof control / central lights, so it can pick up voice from anyone who is in the car. The kit drives the speakers in the car and sends the mute command to the HU (pioneer) for the duration of the phonecall.
