Hi Group, I phoned my Skoda dealer to enquire about glow plugs and was told that there are 2 types available (slightly different measurements 27 or 30, he didn't know if that was millimetres of what?) for my 1.4 Tdi Fabia based on my chassis no. He didn't know weather they were metal or ceramic and said they were not stock items and the only way of knowing which plugs they were was to remove one and have a look. My elsawin software says there are either metal or ceramic too but gives no indication as to how one would know. I would appreceate advice as to how to find out without removing of possible. Thanks.
