VRS CR Top Speed

Featured Replies

I know its a childish question,

But I am curious, what is the tope speed you have seen on the Clock of your VRS?

100 in mine

enough for the roof rack to disintegrate.....

236kmh on remaped Scout 1.8.

237kph

which is around 148 mph emoticon-0144-nod.gif

+1 148mph

How did it feel at that speed? I had 130 comfortably in my mk1 vrs and get the mk 2 tonight so will test it after a few hundred miles

I'm as petrol headed as they come, but just a reminder at those speeds its not just your license you will loosing, severe jail time would be on the books as well. And that's without crashing :(

Anyway, just to add, I suffered food poisoning at a friends house & decided to try and make it back home so i didn't re-paint her bathroom and I had a GPS recorded 127-130ish out of mine. I didn't want to go any faster (I was already about to *ahem* myself! :p)

These speeds were done on a runway of course

How did it feel at that speed?

It felt like

"Dear God, give me another gear and 50 more horses"

I want to break the 150 mark next time emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Mines a VRS Estate PD but I have seen just over 140 on the speedo and about 133 on the sat nav a couple of times, and the mpg reading 17 mpg..... :wonder:

Felt ok, and I want holding it their long. Fairly stable too.

Middle lane?

Nice move......

I have no idea how fast a TDi170 will go but a TSi (CCZA) engine'd will go past 160mph on the clock.

At least it did on the downhill section of the A3. The German A3 not the London Road.
