Hi All,

Have been reading stuff on briskoda for the past couple of days and signed up last night. Great site and forums.

Have part exchanged my 2 year old Hyundai i30 1.4L comfort (6000 miles), stone black mica paint. Great car with great specs and a rev happy engine. Going for the Octavia as the deal seemed great and it looks better.

Did proper running-in of the Hyundai for 1000 miles. Hope I don't miss it much. Looking forward to running-in the Octavia. Ordered on the 20th of March. Hope to get delivery next week. Ordered Black Magic pearl effect paint and got a free upgrade to 17 " Pallas Alloys. Foglights would have been great to have(as they look great) but the dealer (Alex Laurie Skoda, Liverpool) said that I couldn't order them as the car had already been manufactured.

The dealer phoned this morning. The car will be ready on Wednesday. But I'm busy.....so picking it up on Thursday evening.

Thanks @Fabia55. I enquired, but the dealer wont fit it as the electrics are too complicated, they said. But they will refer me to independent auto electricians..... Might consider........

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)

Hello all, I am looking for advice from the hive mind please. We have a 2012 Fabia Scout and it needs new shocks, maybe rear springs too. Most places list these items, but they are the standard Fabia items, and I believe that the Scout has a slightly different spec suspension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get the correct items please? Many thanks in advance for advice received. Darren

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid
