Hello all,

Just recently my gearbox sends out an almighty CRUNCH when I put it into reverse... the gear stick has also lost its "springiness" and doesn't pop into neutral.

It's definitely not my driving - I'm perfectly stationary, clutch fully down... but still does it :(

Any ideas?

My vrs sounds like a dog box when i put it in reverse sometimes but its usually when car hasn't totally stopped moving forward, really doesnt like it

Try changing gearbox oil, mine feels alot smoother since i changed mine

Try this first?? 5spd gearbox linkage adjustment
