Hello, I'm going to look at a 2007 Roomster Level 1 1.4 TDI 70bhp, wlth 80,000 miles on it tomorrow, going for £3250.

Should bother looking at it in the 1st place, and if so what do you look for?

I know timing belt should've been done, but what else?

next thing to check would have been a HPI / insurance write off check, only a few quid these days, my guess would be it was a write off been "fixed"

but on another note, 80,000 is just run in nicely on a diesel, i could do you a 07 1.9tdi with 145,000, only problem is an intermittent CEL lamp on at the moment :( that seems to turn off as i go to the garage, and then no fault codes to give a clue :(

the real curious one for me is the lack of milage records, as it would have had at least 1 MOT which would have recorded the milage on the registers
