The only thing that would put me off is that a new model will be on the cards soon.

Lets hope that means the mk2's drop to mk1 money :D

I'm in the same situation. I was all set for going sensible and getting shot of my mk1 vRS for a nice sensible 1.6 Focus but I really like the car so I'm sticking with it for a bit with the hope that I'll move on to a mk2 vRS. Depending on if my work place moves (6 mile daily commute rising to 60 miles a day) will depend on whether it is a petrol or diesel.

I think whichever it ends up being it will need a remap as I've become accustomed to my remapped mk1 now :giggle:
