Johann's arguments work for me, SMOC is cool, foot and font are consistent with Skoda stuff, which is a good thing (I have an MGB with a V8 engine, and am a member of the MGOC ... all MGOC 'branding' is consistent with the old MG factory stuff - keeps it 'family' - and I think SMOC should adopt similar principles).

Now it just needs the SMOC and Briskoda parts! Maybe this can be done cheaply in a straight line like the Greenline logo and we can add that below/next to this?

My choice would be a simple Yeti foot, as per Skoda's literature, with SMOC in the toes. Being as we are here I suppose it has to have the Briskoda web address.

I wanted to see the general feeling before posting my comments re the above. So here goes.

I find the SMOC angle of the letters very strange inside the foot. And to be honest don't like the foot at an angle either as nothing else on the car is at that angle. The angle and thus that of the text is very arbitrary.

As to the O being a Škoda logo: don't like that as there are enough logos on the car and not everyone will have new style logos (well no-one has yet and thus this one looks as if from a 1990 Felicia!!).

I would thus still like to see something simpler, where the foot points at a proper angle - either straight up or horizontal. With the words SMOC in it as above (but at same angle as the foot) or with the letters SMOC in each of the toes.

Like it. Plain and simple and even though the foot is at an angle the text below and the circle it is in gives the whole thing "direction". The white should also be visible through our tinted windows.

We should just ask Colin (the Briskoda site owner) his opinion first as we should perhaps add "Part of www.briskoda.net" or such like in small print at the bottom.

Cool, if everyone likes it I would spend a wee bit more time on it for slight alignment tweaks etc. I looked to the new skoda logo for inspiration and used the ever popular VAG font which is of course appropriate.
