anyone know of any UK companies selling these?

OSIR Design UK would be the place to look but it appears their site is down.

They suggest this place on the site:

UNITED KINGDOM

Audi TT Parts

The TT Shop

Unit 1 Union Park Triumph Way

Woburn Road Industrial Estate Kempston Bedford MK42 7QB

Phone: +44 (0) 1234 853 225

Fax: +44 (0) 1234 854 225

eMail: [email protected]

http://www.thettshop.co.uk

(I assume the engine is fitted to the TT too)

But don't they ship to the UK anyway?

You could always wrap the OE part in 3M carbon film, then hit it with 2-3 coats of lacquer to get the gloss finish!

The OE one on mine is cracked - do you reckon covering it in 3m would still look ok or would you be able to see its damaged? suppose if im covering it i could fill it and seal it? - like your thinking  about 200 quid up too lol B)

Fill it mate then sand it, (or do a plastic weld if you have a soldering iron) the wrap will cover it if you take your time on the finish, I planned on doing the same, and I thought about wrapping the intake pipe as well.

More than enough here...
