I think to be perfectly honest it rather go for a throttle bodied ABF lump, but the fitting of would be near enough the same.

When we did the clubman rallying with our SEAT Ibiza at MK SEAT there was a chap who had a throttle bodied 2.0 16v engined MK2 Golf who we used to meet up with, that made a gourgeous sound.

Also if you are sticking in a 1.8T what you doing suspension wise?
