My Furby VRS - Getting there!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have not actually posted any pictures of my car on here since owning it now I don't actually have any pictures of it as I got it but just imagine a standard black vrs! I recently aquired some Audi TT Comps like this from RsSimon:

As the pictures below show I have been busy over the past few days spraying the inserts black (only a quick job to see if they looked ok) and also lowering the car so it did not look like a monster truck! :giggle:

I also just detailed it ready for a few outings next week using Bilt Hamber Auto Balm and i'm impressed with the finish, let me know if you spot me!

More pictures to follow of it somewhere other than my drive!

Let me know what you think!

Looking smart get a LCR splitter

I've thought about that but some of the speed bumps around here are ridiculous and I think they would take it off!

Mate I'm low and never touched/ scrubbed/ scrapped anything.

I have to agree. The LCR splitter will transform the front of your car.

You shouldn't get problems with it rubbing over anything and even if it does, it's the bottom that will scrape which you can't see.

Very nice ;)

What suspension did you go for in the end?

Hi Simon, I went for the supersport 55mm lowering suspension kit as seen on the dpm performance website. I got a good deal on a barely used set so it was a no brainer and I think the drop is just right! (if not a bit harsher than standard!)

I know but I'm wary of these speed pillows/cushions that are all around here, they don't go all the way across the road and they are about 12-15cm high! Our neighbour has a standard alfa spider and he has trouble getting over them! Guess I will know better when I try my car over them as it is!

In terms of the front end another change I want to do is to Lamin-x the fogs yellow! :p
