Skoda Free Insurance

Featured Replies

Can you help??

I pick up my VRS SE Saturday from Norwich, Robinson Skoda

Just tried to do the 7 day free cover so they can tax the car when i collect it.

Just been on the phone for 45 mins cause they will not insure the SE. How stupid is this???

They say there is no insurance rating for the SE but there is for the normal VRS. Something to do with the VRS was up to 2007 Building) and the SE was just 2007?

Details going off to there head office and i hear something tomorrow - so they say

Any one has issues or information about this

I thought the 7 day free cover was on new cars only.

Welcome to the world of VSE SE ownership BTW.

No - it applies to secondhand cars bought from Skoda dealers too.

Bit of a worry that Skodas insurance doesn't recognise their own cars!!!

they are underwritten from what the bumf says

hope i get the ownership if i can insure the thing and tax it

Speak to the dealer and tell them you're having problems. It's in their interests to help you sort it.

My 09 reg VRS SE was a complete nighmare. I ended up putting it on the company fleet policy as that's any vehicle. I didn't have to explain why a car built in 07 was registered in 09 and try to convince a computer that was right. :dull:

So I kind of see your problem.

just a waiting game atm

will call robbo skoda tomorrow see what little help they can be

they are a con and worthless, id sort my own insurance out anyways..

my friend just bought a car from honda and as he had a claim in 2006 they would not insure him for a week, i hate dealerships with a passion

Not had the problem myself D M KEITH HUDDERSFIELD they insured it SKODA for seven days and taxed it, which gave me time to change my insurance from the VRS TO THE VRS SE

I hope all goes well and you enjoy your VRs SE
