Yes, very true - car will be a good 8 months newer and I know how it's been driven from mile 0. I know I ran my Octavia in properly - who knows how this one has been driven - despite being looked after.

I dont think so.

Where were you when it was driven to the docks and unloaded at this end.

Where were you when "lado" got in it for the PDF drive or popped to another dealer for parts.

Many other things could have happened to it before you took loving care of it .

I once drove a new awaiting customer delivery car for over 50 test miles and the dealer told me they can easily reset the

total milage to zero or any other figure if required.

True enough

I dont think so.

My brother loads/unoads cars at Bristol (appreciate Skoda's arrive at Hull) but they can get the cars up to a fair old speed in the two miles they get to drive from cold. Has driven most cars now, including an Aston Martin Cygnet (the posh Toyota IQ).

Thunderbird 2 was green, Thunderbird 3 was red (as was 5), Thunderbird 1 was blue and 4 was yellow.

Lovley mate, good choice in red me thinks! :)

  • Author

Definitely - always liked it in Red!

All the main press shots of it are in Red too. In the flesh it looks amazing.

Was dubious about red, but this one is stunning :D

All the best with it :)

Just think now you can get your next new car 6 months early :giggle:

I only ordered cruise control, and that's the only extra I really want

Saw it

Test drove it

Bought it

It didnt have cruise but really wasn't a deal breaker.

PMSL, so you bought a car in a different colour that you ordered and without the only option you really wanted (which according to this thread cannot even be retro-fitted) ??

Hope you don't regret the decision in a few months time ............ you should never have driven it :giggle:

I've heard it can be retro-fitted.

But seriously, it's not the end of the world. Given the rest of the parameters (mainly the big one - cost, and the fact i've got other options instead - climatronic, parking sensors etc....) I think i've got a bargain :D

Yes, so it isn't green - I think it looks brilliant in Red :)

Congrats. Nice looking Estate.

Only YOU can make the choice you did - the forum can help but at the end of the day its you signing the cheque....

Enjoy the car
