It is true!

Xbox is where its at chaps - still playing COD :D

Green glow of jealousy here.

How about a roof-bar-mount-RPG so we can take GTA on the road!

I have an Xbox 360 AND a PS3. Oh, and a Wii too.

Goddamn I spend too much money :D

You'll be ok mate in a few years. I used to spend the earth on gsmes consoles, but after hitting 40 i just lost interest. Or just got bored with endless fps type games. Last game i loved was saboteur.

Yeah I don't game as much these days - I only bought a PS3 for two reasons - Gran Turismo 5 and BluRay lol.

You can't take it with you and between me and my wife we make good money so let's enjoy it :-D

Well going to book a test drive in a week or two and compare it to the Cupra and see whats what.

Leaning towards the fabia as the car will be garaged in a fairly small garage, so door opening width is crucial, plus it has drink holders in the door cards :giggle: Although I do a lot of night driving and would love Xenon's, guess I could just get an after market set and set the set properly.

I know what you mean about the lag with DSG. Came off a roundabout in the Cupra on a test drive which leads to a 70zone and nailed it, took a second for the car to go into crazy mode, although when it was there, damn its good.

The lag issue with DSG seems to occour occasionaly.. personally I've never had any issues !! I can imagine it would be very annoying and potentially dangerous pulling away from junctions/roundabouts

You have to adjust your driving with DSG, I find my driving style much more "smoother" than in a manual - not that I rag the balls out of a manual but driving a DSG feels more progressive.

And, you can't just boot it at the last second if you are trying to beat someone on a roundabout - it will end in disaster.

Also I think that the DSG paddles would be much better if they were a bit larger and fixed. I found them moving with the wheel really offputting and on my testdrive used the selector for manual.

Yeah - but you get the same paddles on a 30k Golf R - so it's not like you are missing out. I think that you can buy new paddles though

Lol was about to mention that too.
