Rolling Road

Featured Replies

Just to clarify this, I was at a rolling road day yesterday along with jcdub, and we both managed to get a successful run with our VRS CR TDI's. We pulled three fuses on each car, but strangely two of them were in different locations on the two cars, in the fuse box in the nearside corner of the engine bay. :wonder:

IIRC, it was fuse no.2 (5 amp) in the dash by the drivers door, and two of the three 30amp fuses in the fuse box on the p/side of the engine bay.

All fuses relate to ABS/ESP valves, pump and control unit. After replacing, you may need VCDS to clear any fault codes.

As for results, I'll let jcdub post his......

And mine? Well.....it wouldn't be fair on the tuning co. involved to post anything just yet, but I have some calls to make... :(

Believe me, they will be posted if improvements aren't got sharpish...

It was a great day out apart from the weather!

I got 214.5bhp and 346lb/ft . I was a little disappointed with the bhp figure but I'm delighted with the torque figure and all put out with very little smoke too :p

What remap you running?

What remap you running?

It's a custom remap I have after the dpf was removed. It was carried out by a guy called Joe @ tdr performance had in Ireland. I took a good few maps to get the balanced of smoke and power. Excellent power delivery too.

Here is the link to the thread on vag drivers showing my map from the day:
