DRL by Milotec **pics added + video**

Featured Replies

Today I received my Milotec DRLs from Germany. It was an impulse buy and an expensive one at that but thank god the quality build is very good. The DRLs (from what I can read in the manual) are made by Nolden http://www.noldengmbh.de/ and seems they can withstand some beating and harsh weather. Also I'm very glad I got the dark version (meaning the insides got a black housing rather chrome) they suit my black Fabia better.

As for the plastic covers they got openings made to fit the DRLs - not extremely impressed by the quality but only time will tell. They got a satin finish and are a deeper black that the original ones.

Finally the package comes with all necessary cables, brackets, screws and ballast.

I will try and fit them this week so stay tuned for further posts on the fitting process and final result. Fingers crossed :|

Allams skoda sorry to be ignorant but are you a skoda dealer / franchise owner?

Nice find! Me want pics!

How much did you pay for those, if you don't mind me asking?!

Personally I don't like aftermarket DRLs, have yet to see any that look as good as factory units so will look forward to seeing your pics when the jobs done!

Out of interest, in a VRS for example, can these be swapped for the existing DRLs and those replaced by fogs?

Nice looking DRL kit  looking forward to seeing them on the car

They came to 300euros. I too hate the look of most aftermarket drls because the majority are cheap and not the right temperature.

The front mask of the VRS is different from mine (pre facelift) so unless you try cutting I don't think it can be done.

So we got them installed and here are a few pics plus a video. Overall it was an easy process and I'm very pleased with the final result. The DRLs look great, love the fact they are slim and they integrate with the car like they came from the factory. The lights are strong and they are on full power when switched on, on their own, then when headlights come on (or the fog lights) they dim down.

If there is something I find as a negative is the plastics that 1) they are very hard and not flexible so they need a bit of pushing (I feared we would brake them 2) they are not a perfect fit, details you might say but for the money I paid I expect perfect fitment.

Anyways overall very happy

Don't be puzzled when the DRLs start blinking. Their frequency when dimmed down apparently cannot be properly recorded by my camera

Thanks for the pics and detail - i really really like these.

Looking for some for the R36 but struggling. :S

They look brilliant mate, suit the car perfectly

Do you have THESE alloys? :p

Car looks brilliant mate and so do DRL's.

looks very nice indeed

I must admit, they looked better than I expected once fitted! The headlights are now screaming out for a set of eyebrows, though. More so since the grille is black and makes the lights look "eye's wide open"!

I'm working on that. Hope it all goes well with my "experiment" and soon I will have news for you. :)

Cant fit those on a Pre FL MK2 because the indicator is located in the top of the headlight, so fitting them would block out the front facing indicator.

Quality job. They look as good as I have seen for an after Market product. Thanks for postings.

Big

Wish Skoda had opted for something like that on the vRS instead of the fog light replacement.

Car looks lovely, hoping mine comes with the black pack lol

Good job on the DRL's, look like a factory fit option and not some Halfords specials!

They look really good, like them alot
