I'd have to move my speaker crossovers as they seem to be bolted on the same height on back of the rear seats where the strut brace would go, but would definitely be worth it

Just a quick question... Once installed, how quick/easy is it to remove the strut?

Bars are ready for paint! going to do them over the next few mornings. I'l be sending the nuts and the spring washers screwed into the ends of the bar. If anyone looses any then send me a message and i'll send spares. just trying to get them sent along with the bars - they will get lost!

Bare ones getting shipped?

Been off sick to the last 2 days with a blinding migraine!! Should get the 1 bare bar posted out tomorrow. All the paid for and painted bars will get their first coats tomorrow also!!

Ive managed to remove and refit mine a few times now. It's pretty easy!! However best invest in some blue tack. It helps with the bolt placement

Just thought i'd post an update. the first Bare bar (thealienfromuranus) has been posted this morning! The first coat of paint has been applied to 6 bars - the 2nd coat will go on tomorrow and then they will be posted out on Saturday Morning

Strut brace arrived this morn. fitting took around 30 minutes after figuring out what to do (youre right i lost two spring washers), i also lost the bolt down the gap and it took multiple wooden skewers to fish it out.

Verdict,

All i can say is the chassis feels stiffer and well planted. It does cause a very slight understeer in my setup (no rarb) but this is very slight

Handling feels much better and more confident in long sweeping bends

A very good upgrade

Excellent to hear it isn't just me that notices the difference. Went a different way home. Had a great drive down & back.

I'm in 2 minds what to do. Fit it straight away, or wait and fit it after my rarb. Dont suppose it makes much difference, its just that I have big expectations with the rarb and what to feel the full benefit of that I guess.
